Betty “Sue” Lewis, age 74, of Elliott County, went home to Jesus on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at her home on T. Skaggs Road.
Born on January 9, 1952, in Elliott County, she was the daughter of the late Rulie and Elvia Moore Lewis. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Billy Wayne Lewis and Curtis Ray Lewis and infant Keith Anthony Lewis; two sisters: Bonnie Prewitt and Joyce Harmon; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Sue Lewis.
Sue is survived by three brothers: Sherman and Cindy Lewis of Versailles, Ohio, Mark and Kimberly Lewis and James Lewis of Sandy Hook; two sisters: Janet and Eugene Randolph and Ruth and Billy Randolph of Olive Hill; one brother-in-law, Mosie Prewitt, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Kathy Jo Fields Lewis. She was a second mom to many nieces and nephews who will sadly miss her.
She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed jet watching, hunting arrowheads and watching the neighbors cattle and sitting on the porch rocking in her rocking chair all day long. She also enjoyed her two special fur babies, Peanut and Coco, that she treated like her kids. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her siblings. She will be sadly missed and remembered always.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Austin Collins and Elder Larry Joe Ruley officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook.
Pallbearers will be David Randolph, Nathan Phillips, James Middleton, Jamie Prewitt, Billy Harmon, Hunter Randolph, Jim Bob Randolph, Joseph Randolph, Austin Porter, Gregory Prewitt, Garret Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
