Helen Roserita “Rita” Masters Ingram, age 68, of Stockton Road, Wallingford, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 19, 1955, in Bucyrus, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late William Douglas Wills and Mabel Maxine Masters Dummitt. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and several brothers.
Rita is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Taft Ingram; two sons, William “Billy” Thomas and wife Michelle and Fredrick “Fred” Thomas; one daughter, Julie Ginn and husband Jason, all of Wallingford; one brother, Christoper Dummitt of Indianapolis, Indiana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as other extended family and friends.
She was a retired registered nurse for St. Claire Regional Medical Center for 14 years and was an employee at U.S. Shoe Factory in Flemingsburg and Vanceburg for 19 years.
Although family was her life focus, she also enjoyed crafting, going to the beach, attending church, and helping others. Rita attended Charity Freewill Baptist Church and Ramey’s Chapel Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be forever remembered and greatly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery in Flemingsburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
