Minnie Cordella (Lewis) Roberts

Minnie Cordella Lewis Roberts, age 81, of Bessie Way, Nicholasville, formerly of Morehead, passed away peacefully Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born January 17, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Arizona Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Lee Carpenter, and one brother, Ishmael Lewis.

She is survived by her son, Zane Roberts and wife Rosemary of Morehead; her son-in-law, Keith Carpenter of Nicholasville; her sister, Drusilla Garms of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, David Carpenter and William Carpenter, as well as other extended family.

Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, knitting, and playing video games. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at New Alfrey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zane Roberts, Keith Carpenter, William Carpenter, David Carpenter, Glendon Goodpaster, and Larry Bailey.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
